Mundane Cat Guts vs. Worm Poop
Intra-orally, I would prefer to suture with worm poop because there are too many variables in one's saliva and cat guts can dissolve too quickly in patients. It's better to have to patients come back to have the worm poop removed, that way you can monitor their healing.
Besides, kitties are too damn cute to be using their guts for even the most practical procedures. One might sleep better knowing the stiches in their mouth are worm poop and not cat guts, and a patients peace of mind is a pillar of my day.
