Jay's or my sister's in Minneapolis
The campground at the tubing place

The campground at the tubing place
Canal Park
Gooseberry Falls
Two Rivers, ON

Extra Circular:
Jaill is playing somewhere up there, meet 'em
Tons of fireworks
one player games (probably basketball)
fishing for worms
fishing for fish
swim LAMF
write a million songs
play my guitar for as many people as possible for sandwiches or gas money or worms

Jeez man, I better think about this a little bit. I really have no idea what I'm going to do.

Lets Go For A Dip Mix Vol 2( by 2) of 8 - Boat Mix

I was reading this book today - it's this old book - it is a compilation of stories. There was one story about a guy named Noah who had a big boat. He brought all the animals on it - 2 by 2 they went, but there is only one Rocktopus so I guess that's why I wasn't invited.
It was amazing! I was inspired! I had this rush like something, some force was trying to tell me something, that I needed to do something. Something for the good of all. It was telling me that I had a new mission in life. It wasn't long before I figured out what I needed to do... Make a Boat Mix!
Here it is....Enjoy.

Lost Songs Found

I've got a lot of time off from work starting today so I reckon'd I'd start writing a bunch of songs. I was going through some old poems and lyrics and tried to find anything valuable. Nothin'. But I found some funny old one verse journal entries that I'd like to share.

Well, I woke up this morning with my blue jeans on.
and took a look around wondrin' where I had gone wrong-
I've worn these here blue jeans a thousand times or more
but this place i woke up in I ain't never seen before-

and this one

yellow - yellooooow - yelooooooow
yellow magazine
where will you take me to today?
Page 1: table of contents, picking out which continent to go
Page 2: ad for an Alp escape, "it's the fastest way to get through the snow."
Page 3: Pategonia by the seeeeeeeeeeeea
Yellow yellooooow yelllllllooooooooowwww
yellow magazine

I might record that one if I can finish the words. Well, I'm off to write.

luck

I'm not sure what luck is, or what it means. I've always enjoyed dissecting mysterious things and that is why I enjoy playing poker. You never know when you are going to catch a big hand, and you never know when you will be shot in the head at point blank range. But with a bit of luck - or even unluck - in a setting of King Henry's cards a few beers and your closest friends, you can apply it to the outlook of your whole life, and it makes much more sense.

It's Madlib time!!!

Get pencil and paper cause ink will run but I think ink is still ok cause you know- I use it too glub glub- but maybe if you use ink you should laminate your work paper so you can read it if it gets wet like the first time I tried doing one of these things and I went to read it but all my words just looked like a big blob and it was less fun than hunting a 5 legged crab.

Lets Go For A Dip Mix Vol 1 of 8

Hello my friends who dwell on land and web,
This is the one and only Rocktopus bobbing bubbling blogging a special treat. It is a mix of songs that I picked out. There are so many different kinds of music in this world, but as a creature who lives beneath the ocean's waves, I only know about one kind of music. The kind that has to do with the sea - Songs with sea-themed titles, bands with sea themed names, lyrics that mention the sea. It's the only kind of music that the dictator Neptune will let us listen to. I hope my lack of a broad spectrum of music does not turn you away, on the contrary, gives your mind a chance to imagine what it is like to dance in an octopus' garden at a Rocktopus dance party that is off the hook. I wanted to bring this mix above the surface, because when I listen to music under water it sounds like a bunch of muffled noise. This is the first of an eight mix installment and it is just a loose mix of my favorite songs - songs I have covered, songs that have influenced me, songs that I love to sing. Others in the future will be themed so stay tuna for shore.
Glub glub glub

Top 5 Tour Lists

Midwest Beat and Night Light Comics tour came to an end yesterday. It was incredible, it was amazing, it was hilarious, it was delicious, it was stinky and comfy and the reverse of those too. There were only 2 noteworthy problems, 1- the radio was being a little fucker and 2- the lighter outlet ceased to work after 100 miles thus eliminating the power source for all of our cell phones and the gps. Other than that, we got along great, made it everywhere we needed to be on time, and found interesting ways to spend our time in an old fashion journey with an atlas dictation by J-man's many personalities inside a 1994 astro van named "Clambridge."
